GEOP-Events
I love it when my theories turn out bang-on the money!
In The Hunt: Symbiosys, one of the characters theorizes and proves the existence of something called a Global-Elliptical Ocean Phenomena Event (or GEOP-Event for short).
In the fiction of the story an GEOP-Event occurs across the planet on a global scale when oceanic action is mirrored on the planet's antipodes. These two diametrically opposed events are connected and related, believed to be caused by unnatural or artificial gravitational fluctuations.
Severe lowering of the ocean level on one side of the planet with this exact same event lowering the ocean level on the other side of the planet. Or the opposite: Severe flooding mirrored on both sides of the planet.
In the two final books of The Symbiot Series, (The Hunt: Symbiosys and Necropolis) we encounter six of these events:
The Zero-Event - c. 1200 BCE between the Red Sea (the biblical parting of the Red Sea) and Central-South Pacific Ocean (Sumerged R'lyeh).
1925 - Central-South Pacific Ocean - documented by the testimony of Gustav Johansen (in The Call of Cthulhu).
October 17th, 1994 - Tokyo Bay and Algre, Brazil. (The Hunt: Symbiosys. The birth of Tamara Takahara).
November 4th, 1994 - Montreal, Canada and Coastal Australia (Perth).
November 7th, 1994 - Tokyo, Japan and Algre, Brazil (The Hunt: Symbiosys. The Tsunami the hits the Japanese Yamayuki).
June 2nd, 2005 - Montreal, Canada and Coasal Australia (Perth).
Double checking my estimates and mathematical calculations I drilled through a globe to see if these points actually line up! And they did!
