Winner of the Faces of Ottawa Award for Best Publishing House two years running, Broken Keys Publishing has always believed in nurturing, encouraging and promoting the incredible literary talents this great city has to offer, through its ARISE events and publications.

Last year's "Thin Places: The Ottawan Anthology," showcasing 14 local authors, won the 2021 Book of the Year Award, and entering this new year, their ambitions are no less grand.

An upcoming project, "Love & Catastrophe Poetry," will be a collection of Ottawa's brightest and most promising poets, centering around the theme of love and loss amidst the catastrophes of 2020 and the hope that rises from the indomitable human spirit.

However, spotlighting Ottawa's diverse arts are by no means limited to literary talents! Broken Keys Publishing is proud to announce the incredible work of Anna Odeh Photography will grace the cover of this new book featuring the extraordinary model and award-winning dancer Stuti Mukherjee in the stunning pose and piece entitled "Shiva."

Due for release mid to late summer, poem submissions remain open until April 5th. All Ottawa area poets are welcome.
